Magical Multimedia Tools for Educators #ALN13

The Sloan-C International Conference for Online Learning is taking place in Orlando this week. I’m doing a poster session on one of my favorite topics: Multimedia Tools for Educators! Free and affordable multimedia tools and web 2.0 tools are key to creating engaging content for students, either online or offline. As online learning grows and flipped models become more popular in education, developing various forms of media to help engage a variety of learning style is key. The great thing about the majority of the tools listed are they can be used for students to create content too.

Just a few of my favorite tool shown in the presentation include; Educreation, Voki, Screenr, Jing, ScreenChomp, Clipping Magic, DragOnTape, and Plixr.
