Startup Weekend Orlando Social Entrepreneurship Vertical in March at Rollins College

Startup Weekend Orlando Social Entrepreneurship vertical is coming up soon, March 28-30 at Rollins College. What is Startup Weekend Orlando? It is a unique three-day experience that brings together the best and brightest minds to share ideas, form teams, build products, and launch companies.

All Startup Weekend events follow the same basic model: anyone is welcome to pitch their startup idea and receive feedback from their peers. Teams organically form around the top ideas (as determined by popular vote) and then it’s a 54 hour frenzy of business model creation, coding, designing, and market validation. The weekends culminate with presentations in front of local entrepreneurial leaders with another opportunity for critical feedback.

This one weekend will focus on social entrepreneurship, instead of any vertical. Social entrepreneurship is for people who want to use the power of entrepreneurship to solve some of the most challenging and interesting social and environmental problems.
