I’m excited to announce that we’re bringing the best content from the Florida Blogger & Social Media Conference (FLBlogCon) and gearing it specifically to an educational setting. With a push to get students and teacher’s blogging and using social media, we can be your best guide to implementation, best practices, innovative ideas, and practical use when dealing with the unique student demographic.
Our presenters include real teachers who are using blogging and social media daily with their students as well as leaders in the high tech industry. Check out all the great sessions in the Student Track and Teacher & Administrator Track.
When: Friday, March 14, 2014 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Where: Full Sail University – Winter Park, FL
Who Should Attend:
Teachers: All teachers (K-12 and higher education) who want to further integrate technology into the classroom. We have both a Teacher/Administrator Track as well as Student Track, so you can sit in with some of your motivated students if you prefer.
Administrators: All school administrators who are charged with encouraging their faculty to adapt to the ever-changing tools available online. Technology is not something to be afraid of and we can help empower and enthuse you!
Students: The Student Track is geared toward high school and college students; however, mature middle school students might find it beneficial at the discretion of the teacher. We do not recommend bringing elementary school students to this conference. All high school and middle school students must be accompanied by a paying teacher who is responsible for the students.
Cost: Teachers & Administrators: $45.00 (plus fees) or Students: $30.00 (plus fees)
