Maitland’s Lake Lily Food Truck Cafe: New Night but Same Great Food
The Maitland Lake Lily Food Truck Cafe has moved to a new night! Wednesday will now be the new night for this event to allow for more parking. This night was one of the first cool nights in Central Florida this fall with a fabulous sunset on Lake Lily.
I have tried several of the wonderful food trucks in Orlando but I actually haven’t a few trucks that have been around for awhile. Tonight was the night to sample both the C&S Brisket Bus and Korean BBQ Taco Box.
First, I’ll start off with the C&S Brisket Bus.
Who doesn’t like grilled cheese? Now call something BBQ Grilled Cheese and I’m ready to dig in!
It’s not all brisket for the bus tonight. My son wanted to try their French Toast stuffed with nutella and bananas. Yum!
Next up is the Korean BBQ Taco Box.
I have been wanting to try this truck for awhile. We split the box #4, which included Chicken Teriaki with salad with house ginger dressing and Korean side dishes: 1 spicy chicken wing, 2 pcs fried cheese roll, fried tofu with teriyaki sauce, and 1 pc of egg omelette roll. Reminded me of some normal Chinese food with a sampler twist. Next time I want to try a spicy pork sub.
Yum Yum Cupcake Truck is a must anyone heading to Lake Lily for dessert. Tonight I tried the Mint Chocolate Chip. I don’t think it will be one of my favorites but it was yummy.
Interesting fact for the night: Yum Yum Cupcake Truck has several Valencia College interns from our Baking & Culinary program helping them out in the kitchen.
Don’t forget to show up on Wednesday now from 6-9 p.m. at Lake Lily in Maitland for a great line up of several local food trucks and always a friendly crowd with beautiful scenery.
I am hearing more and more about those yummy cupcakes! I will need to try the mint and the oreo now! Thanks for sharing!
