OrlandoiX Digital Festival Schedule, Sponsors, and Redesigned Website

This morning the OrlandoiX digital festival (OiX) taking place in October in Orlando, FL, announced details of the five day schedule along with it’s major partners and redesigned website.

“OiX stands for Orlando Interactive Experience,” shared David Glass, Executive Producer. “Our goal is to bring together creators and users of popular and emerging technologies for collaboration and inspiration. OiX will showcase advancements in interactive media, digital arts, and entertainment technology.”

OiX events, include a Gaming Arena, Speakers Series, Startup Summit, Digital Expo and nightly entertainment, will kick off on Friday, October 2, 2015, and run through Tuesday, October 6, 2015, in Orlando’s downtown corridor and the Orange County Convention Center.

The Inaugural event announced that major partners include EA Tiburon, Full Sail University, IZEA, Highwinds, OUC, Foley Lardner, Purple Rock Scissors, Riptide Software, Orange County Government, and the Orange County Convention Center.

Attendees will be able to experience these technologies first hand over the five days of activities, including the Digital Expo where they will interact with local brands as well as Fortune 500 companies and innovative startups. Not to be missed is the OiX Gaming Arena.

EA’s partnership is focused on turning the Amway Center into a Gaming Arena, complete with a game competition, exhibition, workshops, and Indie/student/small studio showcase.
