Catalyst Showcases Downtown Orlando Entrepreneurial Space

Catalyst showcases downtown Orlando 7,000 sq. ft. collaborative shared workspace for entrepreneurs, startups, freelancers, and independent creative class professionals, opening 3Q 2014 at 1 S. Orange Avenue at a pre-construction community networking event on Thursday evening in its One South Orange Building location.  Supporters and potential members saw Catalyst workspace interior renderings and space plan and learned about its membership plans, rates and pre-grand opening membership offer.

Catalyst’s space plan and interior renderings show its open floor plan with a lounge setting in the entrance area that can be converted to event space. Beyond the entry is more open workspace with table seating for coworkers and a craft coffee bar operated by East Orlando’s Vespr Craft Coffee. Beyond the coffee bar is additional open workspace with dedicated desks as well as glass enclosed office spaces. Both in front and to the side of the coffee bar are glass enclosed conference rooms with video conferencing capability.

Catalyst also announced its four membership plans and rates. Its Community plan is priced at $99/month and is for people that want to be a part of the Catalyst community and need occasional workspace. This place includes 4 days/month of coworking with seating at the lounge, tables, and coffee bar. This same seating is available everyday with its coworking plan, priced at $225/month, for  “people that work on their laptops and are looking for a cooler, more productive, and more collaborative workspace than their home or coffee shop,” said Dennis R. Pape, Catalyst cofounder and manager.

For people that want their own dedicated desk with room for a monitor, files, and small storage, Catalyst offers a Desk membership plan at $325/month. For startups, small businesses, and people that need their own dedicated, private, lockable, workspace with no long term lease, Catalyst offers an Office membership at $425/month for each desk in a 1, 2, 4, 5, or 6 desk office.

All of Catalyst’s plans include high speed wireless internet and access to the Catalyst Digital Network, networked printer, scanner, fax, and copier, conference and meeting space, events, workshops, lectures and happy hours, craft coffee bar, and Bootstrap Academy courses. Yearly memberships are also offered that include an additional free month.
