Disney’s Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom Game: Technology, Trading Cards, and Fun
This past weekend I went with a group of Disney Annual Pass Regulars to play the new Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom game that is currently testing at the Magic Kingdom park at Walt Disney World. It’s part role-playing, part trading card game which has guests trying to defeat Disney Villains who are working to take over the theme park. Armed with magic spells in the form of special trading cards, players must go to the magic portals hidden throughout the park that lead them to the villains’ hiding places. Technology geeky fun at its best for adults and kids alike.
By casting different magical spell cards, we did battle with Jafar, Cruella de Vil and other villains from the world of Disney. From flowers to pummeling pickaxes and candle blasts, there are spells to bring down each and every villain.

Cast your spells at the right time, many times more than one at a time. Depending on your group size.
Portals are often hidden or blend in very well
Once you access them via the key card they come to life (note: take off polarized sunglasses)
