  1. Hi Professor Josh,

I really enjoyed reading your post regarding your presentation at the Sloan-C International Conference on e-Learning. I am a newcomer to the world of instructional design and am working diligently to get my mind wrapped around the numerous possibilities within the world of instructional design. Now that social media has taken the world by storm, what are your suggestions for getting major organizations on board with allowing social media to play a major role in their instructional design projects? The blog “wonderful brain” discusses five reasons on how and why to build learning with social media which includes a social collective and information for all on demand, just to name a few. It sounds like integrating social media into learning is going to play a large role in the future of instructional design. It just seems that there are many organizations that are apprehensive about allowing it to happen.
