Vizualize.me Turns Your Resume Into an Interactive Infographic
A few weeks ago, I finally got access to the beta version of Visualize.me. I’m a huge enthusiast of infographic, so I could resist being one of the first to turn my resume into one. Visualize.me believe that the traditional text resume is boring, lengthy and long overdue for a makeover.
Connect your Linkedin account to make your interactive infographic resume quickly. Of course, it always helps to have your Linkedin account update.
Here is a quick run through of a quick setup using my Linkedin Account: http://www.linkedin.com/in/joshmurdock
Vizualize.me Layout Screen – notice the ability to turn off and edit topics to include
Choose a Theme from a good variety of styles – I’m sure more to come in the future
Choose Colors – think about any color theme that might fit your portfolio or website
Choose Fonts – quick, easy, simple
Choose Background – stick with the standard background colors or upload your own
Sample of Experience Section – Notice the interactivity for each job with details
Example of Education and Awards & Honors Section: Easy to read and discover additional details on degrees
Example of My Stats and My Links Section: Interesting quick break down – guess I need to work on my LinkedIn Connections
Now go visit it live!
Go check out mine! Any job offers?
Vizualize.me officially launched in September. Go create your visual resume if you haven’t already done so. Also, check out this interview with our CEO Eugene Woo on TechCrunch.
I love the My Stats section. Not too sure about the graph of eveyrthing else but the stats and links are a great way to showcase how involved and engaged you are. Similar to posting your Klout score. Perfect for those of us in marketing/advertising. Those things certainly matter.
