Social Media Club Orlando – Join in on the Fun! #SMCORL

Social Media Club OrlandoSocial Media Club Orlando had a Meetup last week at Orlando Brewing to start the notion and commotion it’s time to revitalize this group of professionals, entrepreneurs, educators, bloggers, and marketers who are interesting in social media. This doesn’t mean you have to be a pro, guru, or have 20,000 followers to join in on the conversation, networking opportunities, and educational benefits that come along with meetups.

Social Media Club has chapters all over the world – more can be find out about this organization on their website http://socialmediaclub.org/. Many different membership levels are available to officially join the Social Media Club but all those interested are welcome to join us at any of the meetups, educational events, or other happenings around Orlando.

Expect to see monthly meetups for networking and socializing with other members of the Central Florida community hosted by the SMC Orlando chapter at various locations. Remember it’s a great time to introduce people to this group or check it out for yourself.

A great mini conference was held by SMC Orlando in February with a good turnout. Social Media Club Orlando Conference Review Part 1 http://wp.me/p10Pdu-8a Part 2 http://wp.me/p10Pdu-8W

Expect to see a few more of these in the future – hopefully including a regional event with other Chapters around Florida and the south east.

Find out what’s next! Look for a future Meetup in May at Orlando Brewing – Think we can get a Food Truck to stop by?

  1. Hi Josh,

It was great to see you. I really enjoyed the informal networking format of the meeting. Yet, I still feel people learned something too.

If we can’t get a food truck to show up, let’s at least order some pizza. K?

    • John, Informal learning sometimes can be the best type of learning. Plus just developing network of professional to bounce ideas or get feedback from is always a bonus with these type of groups.

    • Thanks Brittany – Expect to see an announcement for May meeting very very soon. It will be great to have a good group of professional interested in Social Media collaborating in Orlando and sharing ideas.
