A few of the events to keep an eye on:

Starter Studio Demo Day (Tuesday April, 14th at 6PM) : Demo day is the culmination of three months of hard work inside our tech business accelerator.  Seven of our startups will take the stage to highlight what they’ve accomplished, pitch their business, and show you why their startup will succeed.  Join us downtown at the historical Cheyenne Saloon & Opera House for a night of networking and presentations to celebrate Orlando’s blossoming startup community.

Prototyping for Non-Designers (Wednesday, April 15th at 9AM): I’ll be hosting this session! Face it; we’re not all designers. You may try your web best, but hey, you’ve never been trained in the art of virtual aesthetics. But that’s okay, because we can’t all be digital Bob Ross’s. Come learn the tools and tricks to get your MVP on tap and prototype an app, software, or website for feedback quickly.

Orlando Tech Meetup (Wednesday, April 15th at 5:30PM) Orlando Tech Meetup, is platform for technologists, entrepreneurs, and companies to share their products. Orlando Tech Meetup has grown to over 2000 members. Though we like to highlight homegrown Orlando-based companies and entrepreneurs, our members come from all over Florida. Come check out Orlando and afterward look for Indienomicon’s Gaming on Walls event!

Techie 5k at IOA Corporate 5k (Thursday, April 16th at 7PM) Orlando Tech is heading to the IOA Corporate 5k. Join 15,000 runners, 700 companies, and 200+ CEOs on the Orlando Tech: Tech Takeover team. You need a ticket for this one to join the team and get a t-shirt.

Bloggers, Starters, and Tech Tweetup (Thursday, April 16th at 8PM or following Techie 5K)  You got the idea, we’ve got the audience, and nobody is better prepared to convey your product or service to the masses than bloggers. Every starter wants to have thousands of people reading about their company, watching video on them, listening to podcast interviews, and even tweeting and Instagramming about them. Want to be the buzz everybody is talking about? Bloggers make that happen. At this event you will have the opportunity to pitch your product or service to bloggers who are interested helping Orlando’s start ups and tech companies grow even bigger. Connect with the influencers and start a relationship that can really pay off.

T’s & Tie’s Party (Friday April 17th, 7PM) It’s Friday. Our beloved weekly national holiday, but this is no ordinary Friday. We’ve spent the past week absorbing, inspiring, learning, and sharing. We end the week partying.

BarCamp Orlando (Saturday April 18th, 9:30AM) The week doesn’t end with the party on Friday night. BarCamp Orlando is an annual community-building event which aims to bring people from different backgrounds together for cooperative learning.
