App of the Week: #iMadeFace with ideas for Education and Marketing

iMadeFace Professor JoshSometimes you just need to check out a simple app that is fun and possible useful with the right ideas behind it. This week we check out iMadeFace app. This free app lets you transform your mug into a cartoon in just a few minutes by using its built-in templates. Nearly every part of your face is customizable with various swipes, making it easy to create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.

How could this app be used for marketing or education?

Marketing: Come up with a contest for someone to create a self-portrait that is creative and identical to a photo of them. Develop iMadeFace cartoons for your editorial or social media team to share the faces behind the brand.

Education: Avatars have been important in developing scenarios that engage, excite, and educate students. Many times we use photos or clipart to represent characters in the scenario but how about building your own custom characters using the iMadeFace app.  Students and teachers who are photo shy could develop avatars to utilize in their LMS or social media.
