How do I find good apps with so many out there?

They make an app for that! Yes, you can utilize an app like Discovr Apps to sort through apps and find information beyond the app store. A few of the features include:

* Video reviews of apps
* Tweets from app developers
* Links to developer websites
* Twitter handles shared if available
* Full screen screenshots (pinch, zoom, pan on iPhone)
* Tap and hold on favs, wish list, recommended bars

Another source for finding apps is to search directly in the App Store on your device. This includes checking out the various categories and discover the featured or new apps available.

Don’t forget to keep updated through site like Mashable, Mac World. and Professor Josh’s App of the Week.

How do I organize my apps?

Scrolling through screens and screens of applications is not a very efficient way to keep an iPhone or iPad organized. Since the development of iOS4, users can use a series of folders to keep their applications better sorted.

Note that folders on the iPhone / iPod Touch can hold 12 icons; the iPad folders will hold 20.

Using Folders:

1. Tap and hold your finger over an app until you enter the edit mode. The icons will shake. This starts just like the user was going to move an app to a different page. Most of the apps with have black X’s in the upper left-hander corner.
2. Slide one app onto the top of another app that you want to place in a folder together.
3. Name your folder
4. Continue to slide additional apps into that folder.
