  1. I keep trying this and all I get is the image pinned to Pinterest. It does not set up a proper link to the original site. Am I doing something wrong? I’ve tried copying both the code from your page and the code straight from Pinterest. I get the same partial pin with both.

  2. I’m having the same problem. Bookmark used to work but stopped about 2 weeks ago. Pins the image but not link is attached to it. I have emailed pinterest a few times and have not gotten a reply. The instructions for installing the pin it bookmark are no longer on the pinterest help page either…

  3. The pin it book market seems to only work on my iPhone when it wants too? Keep getting errors saying it can’t find the images I am trying to pin when they are there but on the computer it works fine. Any help? I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. Have only been able to pin a few things but nothing I want, was just trying to test it out.

    • I’ve heard hit and miss issues with this script & app. I would suggest contacting Pinterest and provide feedback. I’m sure they are improving the app as I’m typing this.

  4. Do you have a static URL-scheme for mobile?

Interesting problem: When I setup a “Pin it”-button properly on my website, people can pin one of my images to their boards. The URL they are sent to is http://pinterest.com/pin/create/button/?url=MYURL&media=MYIMAGE&description=MYDESC (capital letters being my urlencoded content, doublechecked), which works perfectly in the stationary browser.

If I open this same link on my iPhone Safari (by creating and scanning a qr-code as well as typing), the URL-parameters get truncated (apparently while I am forwarded to m.pinterest.com), leaving me with http://m.pinterest.com/pin/create/button/. This is terrible. Any thoughts?

    Thanks for the neat post!

  5. Hi there! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering
if you knew where I could get a captcha plugin for my comment form?
I’m using the same blog platform as yours and I’m
having difficulty finding one? Thanks a
